Play NC is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Durham, North Carolina.
Founded in 2018, Play NC hosts a variety of games, including Softball, Wiffle Ball, and Cornhole, to benefit local Durham, NC charities.
Our “Play For Charity” concept involves hosting games, charging entry fees to players, and donating any profits from the game to local causes.
Since 2018, we have raised more than $30,000 in cash donations and $20,000 in physical item donations. More than 1,200 unique individuals have participated in some type of Play NC game. In 2024, we’ll be hosting three primary leagues for Softball, Cornhole, and Wiffle ball.
Our goal is to make all recreational games played meaningful to the community in which they are played, starting with Durham, North Carolina.

Co-ed, adult (18+), recreational, slow-pitch, ASA-based, but slightly modified, softball league.
2024 Spring Softball:
Sundays: Mid-March until Late June
2024 Fall Softball:
Sundays: Mid-August until Late October
Weekly, blind-draw, 50/50, double-elimination, Cornhole tournaments for charity.
2024 Spring Season:
Wednesday Nights: April until July
2024 Summer Season:
Wednesday Nights: August until December
Recreational Wiffle Ball League, with a 40mph pitch speed limit, out-of-the-box equipment requirements, and a beautiful cause to support! All proceeds benefit Miracle League of the Triangle!
2024 Season:
Friday Nights: April through September
We play every Friday night that the Durham Bulls do not have a home game between May 3 and September 27.
