In 2024, Play NC is hosting the following games.
Durham Softball is a co-ed, recreational, adult, slow-pitch, softball league based in Durham, North Carolina.
Notes and Statistics:
- Games played on Sundays at Pineywood Park in Durham, NC.
- Spring Season: First Sunday after 3/15 until Last Sunday before July
- Summer Season: First Sunday after 8/15 until Last Sunday before November
- Spring 2024 will be our 11th season of Softball.
- 2020 was cancelled due to Covid, but we still raised more than $6,000 to help our community!
- In 2023, we had 492 unique individuals play at least one softball game.
- Since 2018, we have donated more than $30,000 in cash and $20,000 in items to our 19 local charity partners.
Durham Cornhole is a weekly, blind-draw, double-elimination Cornhole tournament structure based in Durham, North Carolina.
Notes and Statistics:
- Games played on Wednesday nights at Bralie’s Bar & Grille in Durham, NC.
- Spring Season: ~April until ~June
- Summer Season: ~July until ~September
- Fall Season: ~October until ~December
- Spring 2024 will be our 7th season of Cornhole.
- In 2023, we had more than 60 unique individuals play at least one cornhole tournament.
- Since 2021, we have added more than $2,000 to the Play NC donation fund through cornhole events.
Durham Wiffle Ball is a weekly, sandlot-style, individually ranked Wiffle Ball tournament structure based in Durham, North Carolina.
Notes and Statistics:
- Game will be brand new to Play NC for 2024!
- Game nights and structure still TBD.
- Spring Season: Friday nights, 7pm-9pm
- Summer Season: Sunday mornings, 9am-11am
- Possibly also Friday nights, depending on demand.
- Fall Season: ~Friday nights, 7pm-9pm
- Play NC has hosted two previous wiffle ball events, in 2019 and 2021.
- This will be our first structured league and weekly Wiffle Ball event!
